To develop a branding campaign for a spoken word poetry festival, that aims to attract and engage a diverse audience,  and create a memorable and impactful experience for attendees.

Spoken Flames was brought to life with vibrant colors, a distinct logo and bold visual elements. The strong and memorable brand can continue to ignite and empower individuals to speak their truth, share their stories, and create positive change.



At Spoken Flames, our mission is to ignite a passion for poetry and spoken word performance in our community. We believe that poetry has the power to inspire, challenge, and connect us in ways that few other art forms can.


Spoken Flames is the only annual poetry festival that provides a platform for diverse voices and perspectives to be heard, while empowering poets to use their words as a tool for social change. 

We are more than just a celebration of spoken word—we are a community that supports and fosters creativity, cultivates meaningful connections, and inspires individuals to find their unique voice. 

What I learnt

This project has been a valuable experience and has reinforced the importance of strategic planning and creativity in building a successful brand and event. I gained an understanding of the challenges and opportunities involved in organizing a festival.

With more time and resources

I would explore more innovative ways to expand the festival’s reach, such as incorporating virtual elements or partnering with local organizations to broaden the audience.
